Set the error correction
Higher error correction keeps the code scannable even if it is partly covered or scuffed — worth raising if you are adding a logo or printing something that will be handled a lot.
Download it
Save it as a PNG for slides and documents, or as an SVG for posters and anything you might scale up. The SVG is a real vector, so it stays sharp however large you print it.

- Which format should I download?
- PNG is fine for slides, worksheets and anything on screen. Choose SVG for posters or large prints — it is a true vector and will not go blurry however far you scale it up.
- Can I put my school logo in the middle?
- Yes. Upload a small square image and it is placed in the centre. Raise the error correction level as well, so the code still scans with part of it covered.
- Does my content get sent anywhere?
- No. The code is generated in your browser. The one exception is the Shorten URL button, which sends that address to TinyURL to create a short link — the tool says so on screen, and if you do not press it nothing leaves your device.
- Do QR codes I make here expire?
- No. The image encodes your content directly, so it keeps working for as long as the thing it points at exists. There is no redirect and no account behind it.
